Sony Entertainment Television’s kids singing reality show, Superstar Singer 2 is indeed grabbing a lot of attention from the audience. The show returned for Season 2 after a successful finale. With judges Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali, the contestants have really come a long way. The top 6 finishers were Mohammad Faiz, Mani, Pranjal Biswas, Aryan, R Babu, Rituraj, and Saisha Gupta.
And now, lifting the trophy for this season, Mohammad Faiz has been crowned the winner of Superstar Singer 2.
The 14-year-old Faiz, who hails from Jodhpur, has managed to win the hearts of all the judges and the audience with his melodious voice. Let us tell you that the judge of the show Himesh also named him India’s Youth Sensation.
Talking about his win, Mohammad Faiz said, “Being on Superstar Singer 2 is a big achievement in itself. When I auditioned, I never dreamed that I would not only be in the top 6. I would rather win the coveted trophy.
“I am unable to describe this feeling in words, it is so emotional and joyously real”. It still sounds like a dream to me. Meanwhile, there are photographs of Mohammad holding a check with prize money of Rs. 15 lakhs have been circling for some time. And well, his lifting of the trophy only confirms it.
Meanwhile, Superstar Singer 2 found its first runner-up in Mani, with Saisha Gupta emerging as the second runner-up.
