British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in surprise: “I am shocked by the devastation in Ukraine”. I have spoken to President Zelensky on what to do next. France

President Emmanuel Macron called an emergency meeting after Russia’s attack on Ukraine. One of his messages to the nation on this issue was also broadcast on TV. In this, Macron said, “France will stand with Ukraine.” French Foreign Minister John-Eve Ludrian also said that France would support Ukraine in any way possible.

China

China has opposed calling the Russian attack on Ukraine an ‘invasion’. Foreign Minister Wang Yi also called Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In this, he said that China understands that the Ukraine issue has a complicated history of its own. He also told Lavrov that China also understands Russia’s legitimate concerns related to security.

Canada

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the Russian attack. He said that Russia will be punished for this aggression. Trudeau said, “This unprovoked attack is a violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We urge Russia to withdraw its army and proxy force from Ukraine.”

Turkey

President Recep Tayyip Erdoan condemned the attack. “We will continue to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Erdoan said in his televised speech. Erdoan also said that Turkey has close ties with both Russia and Ukraine. They are very disappointed to see this ongoing war and destruction of both the countries, it should not have happened.

India

The statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not come on this matter yet. But India’s Permanent Representative to the UN TS Tirumurti clarified India’s stand at the UNSC. Expressing grief over the current developments, he appealed to reduce the tension immediately. It also said that the legitimate security concerns of all concerned should be addressed.

South Korea

President Moon Jae-in said his country would support the international economic sanctions imposed on Russia. The presidential residence issued a statement saying, “The independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine must be preserved. The use of force to harm the innocent cannot be supported under any circumstances.”

Iran

Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a tweet that Iran does not believe in resorting to war to solve the problem. Iran called for a political and diplomatic solution, citing NATO’s provocation as the root of the Ukraine crisis.

    Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said that all the allies are united. Together they will do whatever it takes to uphold Ukraine’s sovereignty, European security, international order and shared values. PM Draghi also said that the time has come for the European Union to impose very strict sanctions on Russia.

  Hungary

    Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Hungary, along with its allies in the European Union and NATO, also condemned Russia’s attack. He also said that the safety of its people is of paramount importance for Hungary. That is why while staying out of this military conflict, he is ready to give humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

    Greece called an emergency meeting of its military and energy staff after the Russian attack on Ukraine. In this, Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis condemned the Russian attack. President Katarina Sakkalarapulu also said that she strongly condemned the Russian attack on a free country.

 Israel

    Israel called the Russian attack a violation of the international order. Foreign Minister Jair Lapid condemned Russia and also said that Israel has good relations with both Russia and Ukraine. He also talked about the Jews living in both the countries. Said that their safety is important to Israel.
